Review of Licence to Kill (1989) by Dalton N — 25 Nov 2012
I remember a couple of days ago calling QUANTUM OF SOLACE the most underrated Bond film. Awhile ago however I would have to have called this one such. Which is ironic considering it was the first James Bond rogue/revenge film. And honestly, I'd call it one of my favorites from the series.
One reviewer said that Timothy Dalton's Bond was "Daniel Craig before we knew we wanted him" and that is quite true. Dalton played the firster darker, more serious James Bond. And he provides one of the strongest central Bond performances of any of them.
