Review of Licence to Kill (1989) by Adam C — 02 Feb 2009
This is the first Bond film not to use a Fleming novel or short story title. The story derives from Live and Let Die, with the mutiliation of Felix Leiter as the reason for Bond's revenge on Sanchez.
A far darker film than any previous Bond film, which works fairly well, though Dalton's performance could have been better.
