Review of Liberal Arts (2012) by Sean M — 21 Oct 2012
Why you should see it: Finally, a romantic comedy that I can get behind and take seriously. Liberal Arts plays it light hearted and down to earth, and constantly keeps up with its witty quips that always seemed to draw a laugh. Both leading actors were great, including Josh Radnor (who I already loved from How I Met Your Mother) and Elizabeth Olsen (who apparently is grown up, despite what reruns of Full House would have me believe) who were very well complimented by the writing of their characters, both thought out, and fully developed. The story is great and has quite a few morals and messages that you won't see in most romcoms which is what really makes this stand out.
Why you shouldn't see it: Its nothing new or groundbreaking but other than that, it stands head and shoulders above the rest in its genre. Really no complaints here.
