Review of Liberal Arts (2012) by Neil P — 28 Dec 2012
It took me a while after the movie to decide how I felt... IFC tends to do this to me lately with sleepwalk with me and now with liberal arts. Although I wasn't happy with everything that occurred throughout the movie, I decided I liked it a lot. It is filled with good messages. Here are messages I gathered that may or may not be intended by Joshua radnor (director and writer): 1. You're life can change another's so easily by just choosing to befriend an unlikely or unwanted person; 2. You are you're age for a reason and so is everyone else. You age just as they do. (This doesn't mean you must or must not date someone from a different age group, just that you are where you need to be); 3. Live your life in the present. Even if you are more mature than others of your age, be careful not to get too a head of yourself.
Zac Efron's character made me very happy - he was my favorite character! Olsen's acting was excellent, in my opinion!! Overall: I enjoyed it a lot. I'd recommend it.
