Review of Liberal Arts (2012) by Joe X — 04 Jan 2013

As a 30 something who was a liberal arts major, this film hit home over and over again. There was some profound perspective laced in otherwise casual dialogue. I appreciate the protagonist's thoughtful and mature (eventually) approach to each situation that presented itself.

I loved the complexity and even sadness introduced by the older generations. And I SO appreciated the absence of cliche' "indie movie music". A welcome break from the expected clappy-hummy-whistley-ukelele-based indie soundtrack.
