Review of L'exil du roi Behanzin (1996) by Valery D — 17 May 2013
I loved this movie for the beauty of the would be queen and the magesty of the King. For once we could se a black King with an attitude that realy existed. This movie made of History a reality and inverse way of a realty a history.
Thank's so much to Guy Deslauriers who "did the job". No one else ever cared to tell the people that one of the powerfull king of Africa was deported to Martinique French West Indies and almost died there to protect it's people from the french bitter army molesting. From the movie I loved Delroy Lindo and France Zobda.
