Review of Lewis Black: Red, White & Screwed (2006) by Joel K — 25 Jul 2007
As the years go by, Lewis Black's comedy has gotten angrier. While it lacks the bitter wit of Bill Hicks' material, which was often like pouring battery acid on an open wound, and the raging hysteria of Denis Leary's "No Cure for Cancer" set, it is often uproarious.
It's Black's weakest set, but his scathing critiques are signs that he's got plenty left to dish out.
