Sure, it's a cheesy blend of The Thing and Alien. But it's still a dumb, fun movie with pre-CGI special effects, which usually adds a higher level of enjoyment. the cast is definitely a plus, featuring Peter Weller, Richard Crenna, Ernie Hudson, Daniel Stern, and Hector Elizondo.
