Okay it's been done before and will be done again but I think this film has a charm of it's own....the shots of the ocean seen from inside the facility work really well and the miniature/model work was excellent.
...it was nice to see Amanda Pays pop up in a lead role and there's some great 80's quality one-liners to push it across the line...it does get a little silly towards the end but..c'mon... 80's!
