Review of Letters to Juliet (2010) by Kym (C My Community Profile) R — 29 Dec 2010
Letters to Juliet- I liked the finding of the letter, making an adventure out of the experience & writing about it. Weather for a newspaper or magazine it's a cool human interest story. Even if would just end up as a diary entry its an experience.
(weather its happening to you or not) I didn't think the chemistry between Amanda Seyfried (as Sophie) & Christopher Egan (as Charlie) (best known for the movie Eregon & TV series Kings) was anything special.
I didn't see it. But then again even tho' there didn't seem to be any chemistry between them to me.. Better than that annoying Fiancé of the Sophies! Ugh Suppose to have gone on a pre-honeymoon or something like that & the whole time he's running around to suppliers (& the poor girl ) just wants to sight see a bit) Oddly I've been watching a few too many chick flicks lately it seems as well.
I thought the plot sounded interesting & although it was.. it was still a pretty average movie. Actually to me the ONLY likeable characters was Sophie (actually I think I just felt bad for her having to put up w/ the fiancé's B.
S. I would have had it after the first day) also Vanessa Redgrave & her 'true love' and the ladies that made up Juliet's Secretaries. C.
