Review of Letters to Juliet (2010) by Kiran S — 12 May 2011
For those true romantics at heart, young and old, you owe it to yourself to see, 'Letters from Juliet', set in beautiful location of Verona.. Let me know if din't make your heart ache for those you loved and lost.
Let me know if 'Christopher Egan' who is also an Ausy, doesn't look and sound like Heath ledger.Though it is an American picture, it is not packaged like popcorn. That is possibly why it did not attract the sort attention that is normally associated with Rees Witherspoon or Sandra Bullock picture.
Good but not over the top performances from veterans like Fanco Nero and Venessa Redgrave. Gael Garcia Berna, not too convincing in a part, I wondered why he was given. Amanda Seyfriend comes across very natural and believable.
Chris Egan comes across as clumsyish, proving you cant make others understand what was it that made you fall in love with a particular person. Go on give it a try. Make sure you watch it with your partner and then exchange comments! Recipe for trouble, I wonder?
