Review of Letters to Juliet (2010) by Isabella D — 30 Dec 2010
Call me crazy for giving this five stars, but this is the ultimate feel-good movie. I fell in love with this movie even before I saw it, and I was head over heels when I actually did get to go see it. Beautiful shots of Italy, great chemistry, and even though the movie was entirely predictable, so what? I was happy for days after seeing this, the remnants of that warm, fuzzy feeling still within me.
For me, that's the mark of a good movie. Man, would I love to get back to Italy after seeing that movie. The ending was especially corny...heck, the whole thing was corny; but as said in The Holiday, we should all be looking for more corny in our lives.
