Letters To God - Jan 6, 2011.

"in the end the weakest person among the strongests will hold out his hand to help the other just with only one thing, a thing that called faith!".

Actually did u ever ask yourself, who is God? What form that he took? How should we picture Him? He's beyond our understanding I might say. Some say that our bodies are the temples of God. We must preserve or respect it, and act or do like God's suppose to do.

Some might say God took a lot of form, He could be someone else, our friend, our parents, our brothers and sisters, our children, someone we don't know, a stranger, even our enemies. He could also be something else, everything around us, nature, environment and He could be ourselves. For me, He is everything. Me, you, him, her, this, that and anything in our surrounding.

God is the universe itself.

And how u can communicate with God? With prayers? Yes, theoritically prayer is the medium to talk to God. But is it only with prayers? I think not, prayer is an act of individual stream of communication between us and God, when we want a private conversation with Him. But, what else? The answer is remarkable. To your surprise, there are a lot of ways to communicate with Him. It could through others, our family, friends, enemies or even someone we don't know, through the interaction among individuals.

Have you ever think, can you write letters to God? To share everything you feel, you see and hear, to share your life with Him. It sounds ridiculous right? Well, who doesn't? Well, get real, if we write letters to Him, where should we mail it? To whom we should write it? Now this is the part when we realize that God's plan is the magnificent pland that us, human cannot fathom. We cannot understand the big picture of His plan, and all we have to do is be part of it and have faith on Him.

This movies told us a story, a story about faith, about believing. Tyler Doherty is a 'gifted' eight year old boy who have been suffering a cancer for sometime. After his walkout from the hospital, and getting back to his life, tyler start to interact people in his surrounding with the touch of God. God have been working through him. Eventhough he is sick, just still a little boy, and needed help physically and mentally from others, he always smile and be strong to live his unbearable pain and fear. The fear of death, and losing everyone he loves have been hounting him at his young age. But he believe that God have a beautiful plan for him and others through him. And with that faith he change others life. To show them the light that always there for him in his darkest time and moment.

He writes letters to God, which he always post it to a mailman (Brady McDaniels) whose also have a problem in his life. Through tyler's letters, Brady found the light of his life and started to believe that God also tak good care of him. Changed by this inspiring miracle, he was encourage to take a leap of faith by doing something good with his life.

Not only brady that's life has been touched by tyler. His famil (mom, grandma, and his brother), sam and her grandpa, and his neighbours also touched in various way.

Tyler's letters to God has become a symbol of hope for unfortunate children with illness and convicted not life for long.

At the end of the story, tyler succumb to his illness and peacefully gone to heaven, leaving his family, friends, and neighbors with blessings.

After his death, sam (his best friend) dedicated him a mailbox for God, saying that "his life was a letter to God".
