I admit that I am giving this one a higher rating than it truly deserves, I suppose that has something to do with how much the story touched me in many ways..
To be fair, the acting is nothing special and the spirituality the film greatly relies on may have been a bit over the top; it almost got "preachy" and in a very direct way.
Don't get me wrong, I am a religious person but I think there are better ways to deliver such a message.
It's a sad story for sure but a very inspiring one, and I think it could have been a great movie if more work was done on the characters and screenplay.
