Faith, Friendship, Hope, Love, Turmoil, Sickness, Grief, Addiction...this movie based on a true story addresses these things and more. Very touching story of a boy with cancer who writes letters to God as a way of talking or praying to Him. It really did touch my heart as people were led in life to fulfill things that were put in their paths not just by coincidence. This boys letters touched so many people's lives...so his life although short definitely had an important purpose as all our lives do!!
The sometimes cheesiness or maybe not so great acting was not really a negative for me as it can sometimes be, because I thought the story was that good :).
