This movie is just a breathtaking masterpiece from the great American legend Clint Eastwood. I like the perspective that Eastwood took and have to give big time props for breaking down a cultural barrier and having the balls to show the enemy(Japanese) side of the war/battle.
This film has top notch acting from Ken Watanabe as General Kuribashi and great supporting cast to go along side him. Also good performance from Shido Nakamura. I just cant say enough about this great film.
I would say its better than Flags of our Fathers. Great film higly recommend it!
