Much better than "Flags Of Our Fathers". This film focused almost entirely on the campaign, and whilst containing some well measured and balanced battle sequences, it also had a much stronger emotional impact.
Good though it was, it was still slower than it needed to be and whist I do think it dealt well with the limited subject matter, it still failed to enthrall me.
