I haven't seen Flags of our Fathers yet, but there's no doubt that Letters from Iwo Jima is an excellent and well-made war epic. Maybe I should have seen the former before this, but I'm definitely looking forward to it as Clint Eastwood once again directs a masterpiece of a film.
Gran Torino, Million Dollar Baby etc. were all top notch and this is no exception. Featuring a brilliant cast and solid performances, a well-executed story and script, great cinematography and stunning visuals, and overall it's one of the best war movies out there.
