Movie shows all grotesqueness and absurdity of war with touching and tragic story of normal people met as soldiers in one place, who have their belief, regardles of fighting side, wihout much typical theatrical rubbish.
A long movie flows perfectly smooth from the beginning to the end, and it is pleasure to watch it, regardless all the facts and the end are already well know. Worth seeing it even because of visual experience of the movie.
