Brilliant film, my personal favourite Clint Eastwood film of all-time. Letters from Iwo Jima is a fascinating account of the lives of the Japanese during WWII and the conflict in Iwo Jima. If you are a native Japanese speaker, don't shy away, because the film uses Japanese actors who bring genuineness to every scene.
Flags of our Fathers was alright; but either way, whether you have seen the prequel or not, this film is a must-see.
