Was a great depiction of the people in a war, rather than the war itself. Was a great two part movie in a sense, this one showing us the Japanese side of things . Some scenes were spectacular especially the one where a US soldiers Mothers letter is read out.
Watch it ! Eastwood has given us a powerful movie yet again.
