Review of Letters from Iwo Jima (2006) by James H — 13 May 2015
I loved the perspective of this movie. It is probably one of the top 5 war movies I have seen. It is beautifully told and shows just how human the Japanese soldiers were also during the War. It's a very powerful story told from the perspectives of several Japanese soldiers and a general, who was performed by the masterful Ken Watanabe.
He really should have won an Oscar for this one. And good job Mr. Eastwood for this movie.
