Despite the completely outrageous over-the-top storyline, accept it for the absurdity it is, and forget how or why certain scenarios happen to get thrown in the mix. More often than not it pulls the trigger at your funny bones even if it's derived from ignorance and gross out humor.
Good for one watch just for the fun that you still manage to have despite limitations on contrived ideas scattered throughout.The leading characters make the most out of the eye rolling material and deliver on queue hilarity on when it counts.
The two as comedic stars are funny but when their contrasting strengths meet, they make a formulaic duo that feed of each others comedic personas making Let's Be Cops a bit of an exception for error when the good parts dig deep, and provoke your outburst of laughter like a comedy should.
I can turn a blind eye in the flaws when I get what I payed for. Not nearly as disappointing as a comedy that contradicts it's purpose and fails to do it's job.
