I like Jake Johnson... a lot. He's the number one reason I continue to tune in to New Girl, despite the show's inevitable downward slide into sitcom mediocrity. In fact, I'll totally admit that Jake Johnson gets the first seat on the ferry to my Gay Island (sorry Mark Ruffalo). But even the schlubby charm of Nick Miller (yes, he's essentially the same character) can't elevate this above a 2 star rating.
The premise is a potentially perfect vehicle for Johnson and Damon (Coach) Wayans Jr. but the material just doesn't hold up.
