Let's Be Cops gets by for the most part because of the chemistry between Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans, Jr. However, Keegan Michael Key is grating in the film. The film struggles comedically for about ten minutes when entering the final act but gains it's momentum and aside from those ten minutes it's consistently funny and amusing.
