Lethal Weapon 4 is my second favourite film of the series after Lethal Weapon 2. This film improves on all aspects of the previous film and it delivers high octane action scenes with few of the best comedy scenes of the series, for which the Laughing Gas scene is a great example and not to mention the scenes between Chris Rock and the leads. Jet Li is the best villain of the series thus far and the whole proceedings are great. Mel Gibson and Danny Glover share real good chemistry in this film as well. Gibson seems to have gotten old because most of his stunts(in the truck) are performed by stunts men and these were usually did by the star himself. The supporting characters are all good and Joe Pesci delivers his best performance of the series thus far in a rather unusually sentimental climax for the film.
