Review of Lethal Weapon 4 (1998) by Lee K — 06 Sep 2009

Ok this finale of the Weapon movies hardly ever airs on t.v. but low and behold tonight it did landing on Movietime formally Lonestar. I actually got excited and sat down and watched this like I was watching it for the first time, just as intriguing.

I love Glover and Gibson together in these movies and dont really know why they had to stop making them in fact im hoping the stars all decide to reunite and do a 5th installment. Gibson seems to like being in the director's chair more then acting so I dont think it will be anytime soon.

However a great director he is! What an allstar cast although I find the only style of movies where Joe Pesci doesnt iiritate the shit out of me would be any of the mafia themed ones directed by Scorcese.

Nicely adding chris Rock to the cast just puts the icing on the cake. Lets get to the mighty Jet Li and how purely scary and dangerous he makes his charector in this seem, and I love how Riggs ( Gibson) all through the film quietly goes up and stares him down uttering things to get a rise out of him, meanwhile you have guys like me saying I wouldnt f**k with that guy lol.

Great storyline and climatic ending as they all do. I think one of these days im going to have to shop for this series on blu ray always a blast to watch!
