Review of Lethal Weapon 4 (1998) by Scott S — 19 Dec 2009
Lethal Weapon 4 (1998) -- [6.5] -- The action franchise coasts to a close, with all the supporting players returning for one last hurrah. I like this one a little better than the third, but it's still nowhere near as good as parts one or two.
Highlights include a strong opening street fight, good chemistry between Mel Gibson and Rene Russo, and an odd but sweet story told by Joe Pesci about a deceased pet frog. Chris Rock and Jet Li appear in supporting roles.
