Review of Lethal Weapon 4 (1998) by Daxton M — 22 Jun 2013
Yes I know this film is old news, that being said I felt like I have never really given this film the praise that it truly deserves, so here we go. Lethal Weapon 4. I grew up with the lethal weapon series, I have been watching them since I was two years old.
I love all the films but Lethal Weapon 4 is the standout to me. Gibson and Glover are as good as they were int the previous 3 films but the main reason I feel this film was an amazing send off to the series that spawned the buddy cop action genre that we have seen ever since the 1st lethal weapon film is the last 15 minutes of runtime in this film.
There is a scene with Joe Pesci and Mel Gibson in a cemetery that is so powerful and so moving that it reminds you why one stays so connected to the characters in this series. Simply Amazing.
