Review of Lethal Weapon 2 (1989) by Jordan R — 18 Sep 2008
If anything, it's probably better than the original, with more action and more laughs. The bad guys, if not more threatening, are definitely nastier - and get dispatched with several novelty kills. And we get a toilet bomb. Seriously. A toilet bomb.
Watch for: Riggs' final battle with Vorstedt (I'd say he got his revenge), Murtaugh's daughter's commercial (oh wow), and the nailgun novelty kills. Oh, and the car chase at the beginning, where the famous duo squabble like an old married couple.
Joe Pesci wasn't bad either.
Action, comedy, cop, and buddy-movie fans should check it out.
