Review of Lethal Weapon 2 (1989) by Paden F — 31 May 2009
Lethal Weapon is the best buddy-cop series you'll find and one of the most entertaining action series I have ever witnessed. Lethal Weapon 2 is a brilliant sequel and my favorite action film. Mel Gibson has such a charming and devilishly humurous personality.
He's not just cool and charming, he's also intense, tough, compelling, and quite a badass. Gibson owns the Lethal Weapon series. Danny Glover is wonderful as well, although Gibson overpowers everyone.
He just has that rare ability to completely steal each scene he's in from every other actor around him no matter who they are. Gibson is awesome. The hilarious Joe Pesci was first introduced in this film and he made quite a memorable appearance, memorable enough to show up in the sequels.
Patsy Kensit might be the most stunning woman I have ever seen, she is extremely beautiful and her accent is adorable. Lethal Weapon 2 is a masterpiece, an 80's action classic. I think many of you will agree with me when I say the greatest decade ever was the 80's.
I wasnt even alive then and I can admit that, now that's saying something.
