Louder, Faster, More Fun than Lethal Weapon, but Lethal Weapon is also burdened with introducing us to the characters.
I remember it as being just as good as the original (like ALIENS, BEVERLY HILLS COP 2, HALLOWEEN 2, BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN, ROAD WARRIOR, JAWS 2) . . . sequels can equal the quality of the original in fact sequels have the advantage over the original because there's less need for character exposition.
