One of the greatest buddy cop/action films. Mel Gibson is stellar here as a suicidal loose cannon who loves his job, and Danny Glover is great as his straight-laced partner who is "too old for this shit".
The script is great too, it's easy to see why it threw Shane Black into stardom (he wrote the screenplay when he was only 22)Gary Busey also puts on a great performace as a real piece of shit. It's a classic, so see it.
