Review of Lethal Weapon (1987) by Tatsuhito K — 16 Aug 2015
A brisk and fun buddy-cop action film that is funny, riveting, and elevated by the strong chemistry between Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. It does feel very cheesy at times (the fist fight at the end is the proof) and it feels a little too long.
But the dialogue is snappy and funny (kudos to Shane Black), and Gibson and Glover are excellent. Lethal Weapon is an entertaining film.
