Review of Lethal Weapon (1987) by Daniel D — 09 Sep 2015
Ahh, Lethal Weapon. The one that started it all is a bona-fide action classic. Unlike the first Die Hard film, this movie feels more character focused (there is some character development in DH, but it's really the tension in the movie coupled with the solid acting of Rickman and Willis that makes it work so well), in that the action looks simpler, but the psychology working between Riggs and Murtaugh (tension mixed with humor) makes this a real classic.
Point is, if you want a great action movie, watch this gem.
