Review of Lethal Weapon (1987) by David S — 21 Nov 2011
Lethal Weapon is quite easily, along Die Hard, the epitome of action movies gone right. Everything is by the book, yet working so perfectly balanced, there is never too much of anything. Gibson's psychotic character is balanced with Glover's tame homely presence.
The partners are the yin and yang of each other, which works brilliantly. Lethal Weapon will always be a timeless classic.
