Update: I want to see this again.
Not mainstream and not recommended to all my friends. But by some, it will be loved. I did not research this film very well, which I enjoy. But I knew just enough to give it a chance.
It started out kind of low film quality but the quality was not in the camera used but in the master behind the camera. Excellent camera work!!!!
Has won many awards. I did not find it too shocking or violent, not real creepy or scary but beautiful and intriguing.
It is a little bit low budget, simple story and some of the stunts are a little corny. But I had an open mind and enjoyed it greatly.
I've also heard that this will have an English speaking remake. Can't see how I would be interested in that, but some will be, I guess.
I liked that it was down and dirty, grainy, simple and stark; not to mention a little bit goofy on a couple of the stunts.
