Review of Let the Right One In (2008) by Faceless V — 31 Oct 2011
'Let Me In/Let the Right One In' are here to redefine the vampire genre of movies forever. While the current generation of vampire movies like Underworld and Twilight (especially) are busy ruining the franchise down the lane of cheesiness and stupidity, 'Let me In/Let the Right One In' have resurrected the beloved genre back from the gutter with respect. Though the two respective movies have been amazing, there are a few minor flaws, but, even those couldn't stop me from giving either of the movies a perfect score! [10/10].
P.S.:- Compared to 'Let Me In and Let the Right One In', the Twilight series feel like a very cheap gimmick of the vampire genre that can never come up to the standards which have been set for it. It's too bad that movies like Twilight and Underworld are more popular than the ones that are truly redefining the genre.
Another note to Mr. Shah Rukh Khan: Hey Mr. Khan! Are you dreaming of an Oscar still? I don't think you can ever win unless you buy out the jury or something. Cos' the child actors in both the vampire movies have performed way better than your performances in all of your movies combined! Seriously, when you actually know how to act and not overact, only then dream of an Oscar please.
