Review of Let the Right One In (2008) by Jesse P — 24 Nov 2011
Rating: A+, This is what Twilight SHOULD be. A great coming of age love story, well scripted and acted, and overall fantastic. It takes the idea of vampires seriously and it makes it realistic. It doesn't try to scare you, but it takes it's audience and story serious and it pays off in the end.
(Note: The film Let Me In is a remake of this film. Majority of audience reviews I read that were negative thought this was ripping off Let Me In. It's such a stupid mistake and I can't believe it is constantly made.
) This is probably the best vampire film ever made (barely beating Nosferatu). It's the most recent film to be added to my top thirty favorite films and watching it again, it's still just as great.
