Review of Let the Right One In (2008) by Josh O — 04 Jan 2012
I've expressed my love for the American Adaption before but now's the time for me to share about the Swedish Adaption which cam first. I love both of these movies and to me they just feel so different but both versions are amazing.
Tomas Alfredson's direction was simply amazing and even with it's lower budget Let The Right One In shines as a quality piece of cinema and breath of fresh air for the vampire genre which has gone down the toilet with the new age vampire (here's looking at you twilight and true blood) .
The children were amazing actors in the lead roles and the supporting cast was great as well. And amazingly horrifying and yet tender movie that has me giddy to see what Alfredson does with Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy which comes out at the end off the month in Australia.
