Review of Let the Right One In (2008) by Matt C — 23 Jun 2012
I watched this movie, not expecting it to be great. However, it turned out to be a creepy, yet charming movie that gives back some credibility to the over done vampire genre. The pacing was a little slow, but it added to the mystery and suspense of the film, making every event that happened, much more meaningful.
The chemistry between Oskar and Eli is very subtle, slowly building as the film progresses. Overall, the movie is very touching and has all the makings of a classic.
