Review of Let the Right One In (2008) by Joel E — 02 Oct 2012
This movie came out of nowhere. It seems like there is a huge interest in vampires right now (Twilight, True Blood) but this is actually incredible. The minimal dialogue, the dark feel, and the ambiguity of certain plot elements make this one of my favorite films of 08.
Such a disgrace that they are already making an American remake though- they are going to ruin it! This is not your typical horror movie at all - I hate most horror movies - so don't let that shy you away.
