This is a good film, however it didn't match up to the book. So much of the book was missing, which in my opinion needed to be added. They could have made this a really good, gritty film, but let themselves down.
The book was brilliant. I loved it. It was dark and gritty. This film didn't have the same effect as the book. Perhaps if I hadn't had read the book then I would have enjoyed this more? Don't get me wrong, it is a good film.
But I just prefer the book and wish they had done all that was in the book to make a brilliant gritty film.
