Review of Let the Right One In (2008) by Karl.. 1 — 14 Aug 2012
This Swedish instant classic based on a novel of the same name I think is a marvelous showcase of wonderful film-making. Brush off those fangs Edward Cullen, a little girl beat you with such wonderful movie, this is dark and poetic.
Brilliance is in the blood. The contrasts of blood's rouge hues to the pureness of snow's glaring white color is just too painful to ignore. Words isn't the only way to tell a story(take note Twilight people, stop making movies that has script written in a mile-long parchment, and it's all in one scene -- total snoozefest!) Move over Romeo and Juliet, there is far worst tragedy than death, Eli and Oskar, now that is just fab.
