Review of Let the Right One In (2008) by Rodney E — 07 Jan 2013
Vampire movies are always hit or miss. The romanticism angles never really work for the world of vampires. Here I bought the romance between the boy and the vampire. Oskar is a a good character as I felt bad for him and thought Eli was cool.
There were points where I wasn't sure how I felt about the movie but I was sold with the last scene. Talk about a suspense build up. Those moments with Oskar underwater were awesome. Good thing I knew what the Morse code meant at the end because it made it more satisfactory.
But still the whole scene in the pool was well done. Even that Flash in the Night music worked. There are flaws though. Wouldn't the pool have more blood? But classic none the less.
