Review of Let the Right One In (2008) by Augustine H — 15 Oct 2013
Despite having intentionally omitted or tuned down some of the complicated and controversial themes from the original novel, Let the Right One In is still a good film adaptation if your intention is to look upon social problems in Sweden, or even the entire Scandinavia.
However, in terms of theatrical experience, this film is about love and the seemingly impossible love between humans and vampires. The innocence between the leading cast is passionately heartwarming without a sense of horror.
Without a doubt, this film makes the superficial and pretentious Twilight series trash of the trash.
