Review of Let the Right One In (2008) by Anner — 06 Apr 2009
One of the best horror films ever made. This could just as easily be a story of an innocent boy or girl who is abused or ignored by their parents and hence become enslaved by the evil of the world under the guise of friendship.
I see no love story here. it seems obvious to me that the little vampire, who needs a replacement for her now incompetent familiar , sets her designs on the boy from the beginning. The story revolves upon itself.
As the familiar was so will the boy become and vice versa. Superb film. Chilling and haunting.
