Review of Let the Fire Burn (2013) by Carl W — 25 Nov 2013
A surprising approach to a documentary - no new interviews, no new discoveries, just archival footage to tell a story of an event many people might have forgotten - or didn't know happened at all. It's surprisingly even-handed; you leave sympathetic to those 'revolutionaries' killed as well as the police and city officials who somehow managed to burn down one of their own city's neighborhoods.
