Fantastic supernatural drama, blending horror and romance with fine performances. A genuine re-imagination of Lindqvist's novel while retaining its fascinating, disturbing, heart-breaking (as well as heart-warming) soul.
Kudos to Kodi Smitt-McPhee most of all, because the film centers around him.
