Review of Let Me In (2010) by Wilman A — 23 Jan 2014
Let Me In is a stereotypical american remake. Despite it's warmer colors, it fails to reproduce any of the original's heart and warmth, and attempts to replace tenderness and poetry with gallons of gore and moronic, over-the-top special effects.
What was left to the viewer's imagination or intelligent guessing in the original is constantly spelled out in big fat letters here. If you're too lazy to read subtitles, you are stupid and deserve to watch this horrendous remake instead of the outstanding original.
